Facebook has developed a system to automatically recognize such words and content. According to the company, from July to September 2020, 94 percent of hate content was detected by AI.

Similarly, the reach of users in hateful content has also decreased. According to the company, the current rich content is only 0.08 percent. This means that only 7 to 8 out of 10 thousand people have watched the content.

Last year alone, Facebook connected various AI-based systems to detect misinformation. However, the technology to detect hateful content has been used since 2016.

So far, the company has been modifying the technology. As a result, Facebook has claimed that hateful content is declining today.

Facebook and Google have to pay the Australian media

Australia is set to amend a bill that would require Google and Facebook to pay for news to the media.

Instead of paying based on clicking on the news article, the two companies are going to make arrangements to pay the media houses at once.

Before amending the draft, the Australian government had lengthy discussions with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Alphabet Inc. CEO Sundar Pichai.

The Conservative government is expected to pass a draft media bargaining code before the end of the current session of parliament on February 25.
